Adjustable pedestal

The adjustable pedestal type PS 7 K (hereinafter referred to as the pedestal) is intended as a support for equipment in the engineering and construction industry, during service activities on vehicles, etc. The pedestal design allows for an axial load of max. 7000 kg and has an adjustable height within the range of 600 mm. The pedestal is made of common structural steels, which are easy to weld.

The frame consists of a tube to which a “tripod” made of Jäkl profiles is welded. These are supported transversely by other profiles for a more stable structure. Two fixed wheels are mounted in the lower part of the frame for easy movement of the base around the hall. The adjustable part consists of a thick-walled tube, which is inserted into the fixed frame and thus allows the height of the base to be adjusted by up to 600 mm by extending the tube. A contact surface is screwed into the upper part of the adjustable part, which can be freely rotated by 360° and can be adjusted according to the needs of the supported load. The position is secured by a pin that is inserted through the tubes and thus secures the set height of the base. The pin is equipped with a mechanism against spontaneous release and a chain against loss.

The pedestal has a variant design of the contact surface in the upper part of the adjustable part (U-profile, straight circular profile, bent 4HR profile, etc.) according to the customer’s requirements.
