ST connecting rods (hereinafter referred to as rods) are auxiliary means for connecting handling equipment on rail bogies (e.g. PV, PVK) with traction equipment (e.g. MUV, hydraulic excavators, etc.) during their handling during reconstructions and construction of track sections.

The rods are made as steel weldments from rolled sheets and tubes, they are provided with anti-corrosion coating with safety elements. The pictures show exemplary designs of connecting rods. The pulling forces and permissible loads correspond to the types of pulling and towed means. The design of the rods can be modified according to the customer’s requirements.

All types of ST rods and their modifications are manufactured on the basis of the processed production documentation. This documentation includes a strength calculation. The production itself is carried out on the basis of CERTIFICATE e. No. 171017. We perform welding work on the basis of CERTIFICATE No. ZCV-17-206/C01, which has proven the compliance of the welding process with the ČSN EN 15085-2:2008 standard in the following scope: Design, production, repair and sale of equipment intended for the construction and maintenance of railway lines and their parts.

We produce all types of rods in various lengths, according to customer requirements.
