At Koexpro, we are proud to be part of a significant transformation of Ostrava’s cultural landscape. As a specialized manufacturer of steel structures, we have become a key partner of Techartstav in the execution of a public contract for the renovation of the theater hall at the Leisure Center on Ostrčilova Street.
This project, carried out for the City of Ostrava in 2026, is a prime example of the perfect synergy within our group. Our task is to handle all technological and structural aspects of the project involving steel and iron.
Our role in the project: Precision from the workshop to installation
We provide custom solutions for the SVČ Ostrčilova theater hall that require a combination of engineering precision and skilled craftsmanship. Our involvement guarantees several key advantages for the project:
- Manufacturing of custom elements: Theater spaces require specific load-bearing structures for the installation of modern stage technology. We manufacture all components precisely according to the project documentation (order no. 1.24.158).
- Maximum quality control: From material selection to the final metalwork details in the hall’s interior, every piece undergoes rigorous inspection in our production facilities.
- Reliable deadlines: Thanks to our direct connection with the Techartstav implementation team, we eliminate the delays common with external suppliers. Production and installation follow seamlessly one after the other.
Technical challenges we enjoy
The renovation of the building at Ostrčilova 19/2925 is not just about “construction,” but about integrating technology. Koexpro is supplying the following to the hall:
- New structural elements: Use of steel structures for the renovation and reinforcement of the existing building.
- Support systems for technology: Structures for high-voltage and low-voltage wiring and smart lighting.
- Safety structures: Elements ensuring fire resistance and the safety of evacuation routes.

Current Status of Work
Following the successful completion of the bidding process in February 2026 and the subsequent handover of the construction site, we at Koexpro are now working intensively on the production phase. While preparatory and demolition work is underway on-site, the first steel structures are already being fabricated in our facilities and will be transported for assembly in the coming weeks.
We are ready to deliver the hall in the promised top-notch quality and look forward to welcoming the first visitors to the renovated space, whose stability and functionality have been ensured by Koexpro brand.
